Abstract

PURPOSE:To simultaneously transmit the video information with audio information by using the electromagnetic waves at FM braodcast band, by transmitting the video signal through the use of sub-channel. CONSTITUTION:The video signal picked up at the pick up camera 1 is converted into binary signal at the A/D converter 2, and it is fed to the memory circuit 4 after being sampled by using the sampling pulse from the synchronizing signal generator 9 at the sampler 3. The memory circuit 4 stores the sampler output corresponding to one field's share of the output of the pick up cameral 1 to a given address with the high speed by the write-in pulse W from the synchronizing signal generator 9, and the video signal for one field's share written in is read out at the low speed pulse which can be transmitted in the band width 30kHz of sub-1 channel with the low speed readout pulse R. The output of the memory circuit 4 is added for the horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals H, V at the multiplex circuit 5, then fed to the modulator 6 and broadcast with the transmitter 7 and the antenna 8.
