Abstract
PURPOSE: To display time in the whole world at the same time without any operation by mounting a time disk on the drum wheel which turns once for 24 hours.
CONSTITUTION: The reduction ratio of the drum dam 3 to the drum wheel 2 is 1/24. Thus the time disk 1 turns once for 24 hours. When the reduction ratio of the drum cam to the mission gear 15 is 1/12 and the reduction ratio of the mission gear 15 to the day feed gear 14a is 1/2, the mission gear 15 turns once for 12 hours, the day gear 11 and week day gear 12 are fed once for 24 hours. In this way, the minute and second hands 5, 6 indicate 00min. 00sec. as shown in Figure, it is 12:00 in LONDON and its summer time is at 13:00 when TOKYO is at 21:00.
