Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically efficiently stack a plurality of ink cans by aligning the ink cans in one line, simultaneously pushing out a number of ink cans several times to form an assembly of the ink cans, correcting the array of the ink cans, then sequentially stacking them in several stages on a pallet.
CONSTITUTION: An upper cover is mounted on an ink can A supplied to a ceiling plate 10, and the ink can is pushed out onto an alignment base 2 by a feeding mechanism 3. When predetermined number of ink cans A are aligned in one line on the base 2, they are detected by a detector LS1 to cause a pusher 4 to push out all ink cans A onto a slide plate 7 by a pushing plate 26. This operation is repeated several times to form an assembly of ink cans A on the slide plate 7. Then, the plate 7 is introduced under the base 2 to drop the ink cans onto a pallet 5. After correcting plates 35, 36 are moved forwardly to position the ink can group on the pallet 5, a table 29 is lowered to stack the ink cans in predetermined number of stages.
