Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the position detector of mobile unit which can easily correct the position detecting shift due to slip and has simple construction, and the position detector of which is driven with the running wheels.
CONSTITUTION: When a mobile body such as traverser, not shown, is moved, the rotation of the running wheels is delivered to a rotary cam switch mechanism 8 consisting of a cam 13 and limit switch 14, via a reducing mechanism 10 and an electromagnetic clutch 17 and sprockets 18W20 move the weights 22 and 23 up and down. When the traverser itself is stopped at the definite constant point, the weight 22 is on a stopper 24 and the chain is not slacked. This condition is automatically set with the weights 22 and 23 by disconnecting a clutch 17. When the traverser is moved, the moving position is obtained with a limit switch 14 of the rotary cam switch mechanism 8.
