Abstract

PURPOSE: To avoid hitting of cool wind against a person staying under a device by a method wherein wind directing panels moving vertically are provided at an air blow-out port and the wind directing panels are elevated due to contraction of a bellows when an air temperature is low while they are lowered when the air temperature is high.
CONSTITUTION: During room heating operation, air is flowed from a suction port 4 to a blow-out port 3 when a fan 6 is driven. In this case, when a temperature of the discharged air is low, a bellows 10 is contracted by pushing of a spring 12, therefore, wind direction panels 2 are directed into a horizontal direction and a wind direction becomes horizontal. On the other hand, when the temperature of the discharged air becomes high, a heat sensing tube 7 detects the temperature and the bellows is expanded, therefore, a shaft 11 is pushed and the wind direction panels 2 becomes horizontal again, thereby, direct hitting of the wind against a person staying under a device may be avoided.
