PURPOSE:To agitate and mix air in a shroud to make temperature distribution uniform, by providing a prescribed lamination air flow guide on the inside wall of the shroud. CONSTITUTION:Air flow guides 22... inclined for the face of plural-stage lamination disc 23 are provided on the inside wall of shroud 21 of a magnetic disc device, and air flow generated according to rotation of disc 23 is moved along guides 22.... Consequently, air in shroud 21 is agitated and mixed to make temperature distribution in shroud 21 uniform. As the result, a magnetic disc device without the bad influence dependent upon thermal expansion can be obtained.
