Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a cassette from being brought into contact with the capstan to prevent damage, by placing the capstan insertion hole of the tape recorder, where the cassette is inserted obliquely and becomes the horizontal state in the final position, in the center of the capstan. CONSTITUTION:Guide rollers 16a and 16b of cassette receiving box 16 are so constituted that they may be guided into the vertical groove part of guide grooves 1a and 1b. Consequently, though cassette receiving box 16 becomes the horizontal state, capstan axes 3a and 4a correspond to the center position of the capstan insertion hole of cassette 30 when cassette receiving box reaches the terminal position of the horizontal groove part. As a result, capstan axes 3a and 4a are not brought into contact with cassette 30 when cassette 30 is changed to the horizontal state, and consequently, damage of the cassette and deformation of the capstan can be prevented.
