Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to display automatically stepping distances classified by ability by providing an arithmetic circuit part, which converts the number of steps into a distances by using a signal of step-number detection of each step and stepping distances per number of steps set according to ability, and a display part.
CONSTITUTION: This unit consists of stepping mat part 1 with incorporated mat switches 2a and 2b for detecting the number of steps and the main body equipped with required electric circuits. With switches 2a and 2b ON, a step-number detection signal is generated by signal input circuit 5 and the inputted to arithmetic circuit 7 via pulse converter circuit part 6. To circuit part 7, the operation program is set which decides to make addition or subtraction as to the display of display part 11 and ability, and to select the number of steps or distance according to man/woman selection switch 8, addition/subtration switch 9, step-number/distance switch 10, and arithmetic is carried out according to selections, thereby automatically displaying the obtained value on display part 11. A desired value is set by desired-value setting switch 17 and when circuit part 7 makes a decision on the attainment, it is displayed by the display part.
