Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten flow lines and from the measurement cell of a small capacity by disposing a multiplicity of electrochemical electrodes to one block having the flow line of liquid sample, by inclining these in such a manner that the adjoining elecrodes assume mutually differenct directions.
CONSTITUTION: For example, a flow cell 30 provided with small holes 33, 34, 35, 36 for a sample flow line 10 is disposed with four electrodes of ion electrodes 1, 2, 3 and reference electrode 4 toward the above-mentioned holes 33W36 in such a manner that the adjoining electrodes incline with each other at an angle of about 60° in the circumferential direction of the flow line 10. The above-mentioned electrodes are all of the same shape and each is constituted by providing an ion sensitive film 12 and Ag/AgCl electrode 16 in an internal liquid holding case 31 containing internal liquid 15. They are inserted into the flow cell 30 in such a manner that the surface of the sensitive films 12 bonded to the ends of the cases 31 touch the flow line 10, thence they are fixed by a fixing frame 32.
