Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to increase a driving current while performing switching operation with a small current by forming a parallel resonating circuit by connecting capacitors to driving coils of erase heads and then by providing a change- over switch to its connecting path. CONSTITUTION:To driving coils of erase heads 5 and 6, capacitors C11 and C21 are connected respectively to form parallel resonating circuits and their frequency is equalized to that of high-frequency oscillator 1. When those resonating circuits are connected to the output side of oscillator 1 via change-over switches S13 and S23, currents flowing those driving coils are large currents limited by the reactance of the coils. Currents flowing through switches S13 and S23, on the other hand, are small currents limited by the impedance of the resonating circuits. Therefore, switching operation can be performed with a small current and the composite impedance of the parallel resonating circuits is extremely large, so that even a connection to the output side of oscillator 1 will never exert an influence on oscillator 1.
