Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove a buoy shackle safely through removing operation on board.
CONSTITUTION: A pin section 2 is coupled through a pivot shaft 3 to the body 1, and hooks 5, 5' are mounted rotatably through supporting shafts 6, 6' on the pin section 2. A stopper 10 coupled with a tension rope 11 from a vessel is inserted into a spring containing tube 8 in which a spring 9 withstandable against the flexure load of said rope 11 is contained. Stopper guides are provided in front and rear of the body 1 located below the containing tube 8, while stoppers 10 having recess are also inserted into rotatable coupling stoppers 7, 7' having nail which contacts tightly against the outer face of said hooks 5, 5' where the upper section of said stopper 10 and the coupling stoppers 7, 7' are coupled through a chain. When pulling the stopper 10 from the vessel, said stoppers 7, 7' and hooks 5, 5' rotate through rotary rods 13, 13' to the left and right to be disengaged thus to disengage the body 1 from the pin section 2.
