Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the fluidity of heavy oil, to avoid the local heating and contact, and to increase the liquid yield, by subjecting a mixture of a small amount of naphtha having a specific boiling point with a feedstock oil consisting of the heavy oil containing a distillation residue to catalytic cracking.
CONSTITUTION: Heavy oil containing a distillation residue is fed from the line 3a; 1W10vol% of naphtha boiling at 20W220°C, from the line 3b. Both are fed from the line 3 to the bottom of the riser reactor 1; and the high-temperature catalyst regenerated in the zone 5 is taken out and partly fed from the line 8 to the bottom, preferably at a level less than 1/10 of the total height, of the reactor 1 and mixed with the preheated oil from the line 3. The rest of the catalyst is partly blown into a point after the contact position in the reactor 1 to crack the feedstock oil. The cracked product is separated from the catalyst in the separation zone 2 to recover a hydrocarbon vapor and to regenerate the catalyst in the zone 5.
