Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of noise resulting from meshed gears of a geared motor by placing a damping joint made of a buffer material between the drive shaft and the primary gear, or between the output shaft and the secondary gear. CONSTITUTION:A bracket 3 contains a stator 1 and a rotor 2. The revolution of the drive shaft 22 of the rotor 2 is transmitted to a blower 12 through the primary gear 23, the secondary gear 7 meshed with the primary gear 23, and an output shaft 8 equipped with the secondary gear 7. A damping joint 21 made of such a buffer material as rubber is placed between the drive shaft 22 and the primary gear 23, or between the output shaft 8 and the secondary gear 7, for example, between the drive shaft 22 and a gear shaft 24 which as the primary gear 23. Thus, the vibration characteristics of the damping joint 21 prevents the magnetic vibration of the rotor 2, or vibrations resulting from the vibration of the blade tip of the blower 12 from transmitting to each other.
