Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the form stability and the precision of a core by employing a core made of flexible shell membrane body being reinforced by a skeleton body the shape thereof is ring-like or spiral-like, and is made up of a hard elastic body such as metal or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A flexible hollow core 1 consists of a doughnut shaped flexible shell body 6, and a ring-shaped or spiral-shaped skeleton formed by a hard elastic body such as a metal, and a semi-hard elastomer. A resin material such as urethane or the like is injected into a cavity 10 through an injection nozzle 11 to manufacture a tire. Upon this occasion, since the flexible sheel body 6 performs a sealing operation and further a skeleton body 7 performs a form stabilizing operation, the form stability of the core according to the newly invented core is not impaired even when it is repeatedly used.
