Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a title composition in which a pigment is satisfactorily dispersed, by a method wherein a polyhydric alcohol coloring composition containing a pigment, a shellac, an alkaline inorg. compound or an org. amine is added into a polyester stock material and reacted by heating.
CONSTITUTION: (a) A pigment such as carbon black, cyanine blue, or cyanine green (b) 0.01W10wt%, pref. 0.1W5wt%, to a pigment of a shellac which has an empirical formula C4H6O and is an aminal natural resin as a dispersing agent, and (c) an alkaline inorg. compound or a lower arg. anime used in dissolving said shellac, e.g. sodium hydroxide, ammonia, methylamine, triethanolamine or the like are dissolved in a polyhydric alcohol such as ethylene glycol. Subsequently, an obtained coloring solution is added into a polyester sock material and reacted by heating an objective colored polyester composition.
