CONSTITUTION:Only the luminance signal is extracted from the video signal by color video signal controller 1 and has the level fixed by a clamp circuit and is made into an analogue signal by a level adjustment equipment and is sent to next- stage high-speed A/D converter 3 and is converted to a digital signal. This signal is given to the address line of high-speed memory 4 as an input. I/O luminance characteristic data is stored previously in high-speed memory 5, and a selector switch is used to select one. After that, the digital luminance signal is obtained from memory 4 and is converted to the corrected analogue luminance signal again by high-speed D/A converter 6 and is synthesized by synchronous mixer 7 and color signal mixer 8.
