Abstract
PURPOSE: A fungicide composition, having synergistically improved action, and comprising 4-chloro-3-methyl-benzthiazolone and an α-benzylidene-γ-butyrolactone derivative.
CONSTITUTION: A fungicide composition comprising (A) 4-chloro-3-methyl-benzthiazolone and (B) at least one α-benzylidene-γ-butyrolactone derivative of the formula (R is H or methyl group; X1 is methyl or halogen; X2 and X3 are H or halogen), e.g. α-(2-chloro-benzylidene)-c-valerolactone, as active constituents, and preferably validamycin or 0,0-dimethyl-0-(3-methyl-4-nitrophenyl)thiophosphate, as an adjuvant.
