Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a stack rain in such a manner as removes contained moisture without heating exhaust gas, by a method wherein an external cover is located at an upper outer circumference of a smokestack to form a dehydrating chamber, and a feed-in hole and exhaust hole of exhaust gas, and a drainage pipe are placed in the dehydrating chamber.
CONSTITUTION: An external cover, expanding outward in an arc of a circle, is located at an outer circumference of a smokestack 1 to form a dehydrating chamber 3. A feed-in hole 4, feeding exhaust gas to the dehydrating chamber 3, and an exhaust hole 5, returning exhaust gas flown into the dehydrating chamber 3 again to the smokestack 1 and exhausting it to the outside, are placed in a portion, of the smokestack, enclosed with the external cover 2. A drainage pipe 9, draining water W dehydrated in the dehydrating chamber 3 to the outside, is located at a bottom of the external cover 2. This feeds exhaust gas into the dehydrating chamber 3 by the ascending action, and permits the prevention of stack rain by removing moisture contained in exhaust gas without heating exhaust gas but in such a manner as leaves it as it is.
