Abstract
PURPOSE: To make correction of misalignment of object stored in a storeroom mechanically without using human power by providing a location correcting device, which is to align the object to be stored with the article receiving center of a stacker crane travelling along the row of storing shelves.
CONSTITUTION: When location sensing devices installed at both sides of the expansion fork of a stacker crane sense out any mislocation of the object to be stored 9, the stacker crane shall be stopped after putting it in coincidence with the vertical center line of the location correction device. The expansion fork moves the object to be stored 9 over receiving frames 22, 23, and the left and right arms 27, 28 hold the object to be stored 9 operated by a power cylinder device 34. The object 9 is pushed by either arm to be placed in coincedence with the vertical center line 6 of the storing shelf. The object 9 on the receiving frames 22, 23 is thereafter is lifted up again by the expansion fork and housed in the stacker crane.
