Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the adhering property of silica component in the geothermal hot-water to the tube wall of the heat exchanger by converting the silica component into calcium salt at the entrance side of the heat exchanger.
CONSTITUTION: The mixer 7 is installed on the piping 2 in the entrance side of the heat exchanger for the geothermal hot-water WH and the eliminator 8 is provided to the exit side piping 3. And Ca2+ system substance M is put in the mixer 7 to mix itself in the geothermal hot-water WH. Then silica component in the hot-water WH is converted into calcium salt by mixing Ca2+ system substance M and the geothermal hot-water WH, and the sticking property of silica to the tube wall of the heat exchanger is eliminated. In this case, when a harmful component such as As is contained in the hot-water, it sticks to said calcium salt. Accordingly no problem caused by scales and corrsion will take place even when the geothermal hot-water WH will be introduced into the heat exchanger, the environment will not be contaminated even when the drain water will be discharged after heat-utilization.
