Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce in high yield and productivity a carrier reciprocating at a certain angle to the moving direction of a printing paper by cutting diagonally a rectangular member and placing the so separated parts in such a manner that their cut surfaces face outside.
CONSTITUTION: A rectangular member is longitudinally at an angle θ to the longitudinal direction and separated into two parts 1 and 2. These parts 1 and 2 are so arranged that the cut surfaces R and S face outside and surfaces P and Q with right- angled corners face each other. With the upper part 1 as a carrier substrate 3 and the lower part 2 as a guide rail substrate 4, both parts are cut to the desired length. In the carrier substrate 4, a hollow portion is formed and provided with a feed roll 6 and top rolls 9, 10 and 11. In the guide roll substrate 4, there are provided a tap hall 12b for fixing a frame 13 as well as a carrier contacting spring 8 in the top surface Q.
