Abstract

PURPOSE: The title lacquer composition usable for film condensers, having a long life, prepared by adding a specific amount of tetracyanoquinodimethane to a solution of a phenoxy resin and a specific charge transfer complex (CT complex) in DMF.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A phenoxy resin is dissolved in DMF, and (B) a CT complex prepared from 4-cyano-N-methylpyridinium iodide and 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) is added to the solution, (C) 0.01W0.1pt.wt. based on (A) of TCNQ is further added to give the objective lacquer composition. The resin (A) and DMF are relatively stable to the decomposition of the CT complex.
