Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate faulty contact and instability near the mid-point, by providing a rotary moving plate at one end of support shaft of a small-sized motor, and detecting the rotation of the plate with light emitting diodes and photo sensors.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary moving plate 8 and support plates 5, 6 to bear freely the both ends of a support shaft 4 are provided at one end of the support shaft 4 in the middle part of a small-sized motor 3 equipped with a flywheel 1 for gyration effect. A pair of light emitting diodes 9a and a pair of photo sensors 9b are provided across the rotary moving plate 8, and the mid-point is maintained by mid-point maintaining spring 10. In this setting, the rotation of the rotary moving plate 8 is detected by taking out as the differential output of a pair of photo sensors 9b. Thus, defects due to faulty contact and instability in the vicinity of the mid-point may be eliminated.
