Abstract
PURPOSE:The casting device which is so constituted as to permit continuous removal by transmitting the removing force of the core piece provided with a draft in the casting core of segmental type to the adjoining other core pieces. CONSTITUTION:The cast material 8 having been finished of casting is placed on a die plate 5 at the time of parting and the core body 2 is firmly fixed to the die plate 5 together with a plate 4 and is so set as to move vertically together with the die plate 5. In this case, the push rod 6 supporting a slide core 3 is pushed down by the core 3 and is in the lowermost limit position. When the die plate 5 decends next, the plate 4 and core body 2 descend as well, causing the cast material 8 to be detached. In this case, the cores 3 mounted in adjacency to the core body 2 are held pushed up by a push rod 6 and therefore they do not descend but at the time when the core body 2 moves perpendicularly downward, they are applied with the force in the x-axis direction and therefore they move laterally and detach from the cast material 8. The casting core 1 is thus completely removed.
