Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned resin compound with less dust by a method wherein paint remnants containing humidity and a specified quantity of powdered or granulated thermoplastic resin are mixed and agitated, the evaporative content thereof being excluded, and further melted, mixed, tempered and then extruded by a bent-type extruder to be granulated. CONSTITUTION:100Pts.wt. of powdered or granulated thermoplastic resin A such as polyolefin and polystyrene and 20-100pts.wt. of paint remnants B containing humidity (e.g. the paints scattered behind a painted matter and caught by a water curtain and the like), to which 10-30pts.wt. of a filler C such as some mineral filler, wood powder etc. is added when occasion demands, are thrown in a mixer 4, agitated and mixed thereby and the evaporative components thereof are excluded. Then, they are supplied to a bent-type extruder 19, melted, mixed and tempered thereby and, after the evaporative components being further excluded therefrom, are extruded to be granulated.
