Abstract
PURPOSE:To save the installation space for a damper and to increase the degree of freedom for designing, by providing a shock-absorbing swing member at an intersecting or opposite portions of wire in a damper capable of causing reciprocal movement of a movable body by means of wire without applying impact forces to the movable body. CONSTITUTION:When winding pulley 24 is turned in the direction of arrow shown in the drawing, the first support member 11 is moved along guide shafts 14-16 in the direction of arrows by means of wire 25. Providing here that the damper is applied in a duplicator, a portion 25a of wire 25 is acted by tension whereas other portion 25b is kept slack at the instant when exposing procedure is started. Therefore, if wire 25 after passing idler pulley 28 is extended in intersecting manner as shown in the drawing by the intermidiary of tension pulley 29 supported on a swing plate (or pivotally movable plate) 31, tension pulley 29 is moved in the direction a and slackness at the portion 25b of wire 25 is absorbed resultantly. On the other hand, at the time of reversing the motion of damper after completion of exposure by an optical mirror, plate 31 is turned in clockwise direction, so that wire can be protected from initial shock.
