Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to record well a prescribed picture signal within the effective screen width, by supplying data only within the effective screen width and by performing the recording operation over the effective screen. CONSTITUTION:A slit to prescribed the main scanning position and a slit to prescribe the effective screen width are provided on the plate. When the recording head reaches position c by the switching signal, the even signal is generated and recorded. Similarly, signals are recorded alternately to terminate completely data recording in position i, however, the recording operation continues up to the signal SL1 generation position.
