Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily perform a work of mounting or dismounting a focusing phototransmission unit array on or from a cathode-ray tube by fixing the former on the latter in such a method as to insert an elastic pawl element to the enegagement parts of said array and tube. CONSTITUTION:A cathode-ray tube 1 has a faceplate 2 at its end portion. In each of the top and bottom faces of the faceplate 2, a recess 3 is formed for enegagement. A focusing phototransmission unit array 4 is of such a contruction that many bar- shaped focusing phototransmission units 5 are lined and arranged. To top and bottom parts of its frame 6 elastic pawl elements 7 are fixed. The focusing phototransmission unit array 4, when pressed to the cathode-ray tube 1, can be fixed to the cathode-ray tube 1.
