Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The low carbon steel strip at 80W350°C is passed while being bent by the roll in which the ratio D/h between the roll's outside diameter D and the strip thickness (h) is specified to 200W500; hereupon, the speed V to pass the strip is specified to be larger than either larger one of 200m/min or the value obtained from the formula I (in which, D is for the roll's outside diameter mm, (h) is the strip thickness mm, (t) is for the strip speed, and V is for the speed to pass the strip m/min), and besides, the speed V is specified to be smaller than 2,000m/min; hereby, the generation of coil break is prevented.
