Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the sample liquid from being defected, deteriorated, or contaminated, by measuring the indication electrode potential by taking the non- response solidstate film electrode as objective electrode in the potentiometry.
CONSTITUTION: The reference electrode inner electrode 1 and inner electrode 2 at indication electrode are both silver-silver chloride and they are respectively immersed in the water solutions 3 and 4. The tube 7 of non-response solidstate film such as sodium glass and the tube 8 of glass of lithium system pass respectively through the vessels 5 and 6 and fixed to the vessels, and the both are connected with the silicone rubber tube 9. Further, the sample outlet tube 10 is connected to the non-response solidstate film electrode 7 and the sample inlet tube 11 is connected to the indication electrode film 8 to constitute a part of the flow pass of sample liquid. By measuring the potential difference between the inner electrodes 1 and 2, H+ ion concentration of water solution can continuously be measured.
