Abstract
PURPOSE: To fix pipes to a cylindrical body easily and accurately, by a method wherein, synthetic resin pipes are fitted to pipe ends, these are prebundled on a supporting plate, synthetic resin is filled and solidified between synthetic resin pipes and their neighboring pipes, and synthetic resin pipes and synthetic resin parts are properly cut.
CONSTITUTION: Synthetic resin pipes 11, leaving about 10mm from their one end, are fitted to both ends of metal pipes 10. These pipes 10 are fitted, in a bundle form, into holes 8, 8 of supporting plates 7, 7, whic are fitted into large diameter parts 5, 5 of cylindrical body 1, and synthetic resin pipe is supported by the supporting plate 7. Next, a cap 31 having a bottom part is screwed to the end of synthetic resin pipe 11, and while cylindrical body 1 is rotated horizontally about its center part, synthetic resin is poured into it. By this, the synthetic resin material reaches every part of the pipe end by centrifugal force and solidifies. Next, cap 31 is removed, and the synthetic pipes, together with the synthetic resin, are cut on the outer side of the end surface of pipe 10, and thereby a bundle of pipes are obtained. By this, the fastening of the pipes to cylindrical body 1 is made easy and accurate, and since cutting is operated outside of the steel pipes, cutting is also made easy and accurate.
