Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The azimuth of the maximum density gradient in the picture is divided into 8 directions by taking a video element as the center and the operation obtaining the gradient of density is made between each matrix components. After the azimuth of the maximum density gradient is determined to the video element, the digital filters a to d taking the azimuth as 1 and other matrix as 0 are selected to perform average processing to the original picture. From the law of experience, the probability is higher for the important information to the maximum density gradient and the effect of noise rejection in a sentence is greater. Further, by taking into consideration the density around the noticed video element, relative sampling is made and the picture having greater freshness can be obtained with the processing in response to the change in the line picture.
