Abstract

PURPOSE: To compensate lack of braking force by using a dual brake lines fluid pressure control valve which regulates brake fluid pressure to prevent skid at rear wheels of an automobile by if either braking system fails, applying another spring force on a spring seat when anyone of the brake line fail.
CONSTITUTION: A primary control valve 8 and secondary control valve 9, which open or close the lines between inlets 4, 6 and outlets 5, 7, are stored in a housing 1. Valve seats 13, 13' fit open ends of blind holes 11, 11' of said valves 8, 9 whose valve bodies 12, 12' are loaded with springs 14, 14'. Tips 10a, 10'a projecting from plungers 10, 10' inserted in plunger barrel sit opposite to a common spring seat 23. A spring 27 is contracted between the spring seat 23 and spring retainer 25. The interior bore of the spring seat 23 is tapered. The system of a cylinder 33 connected to the front wheels, if fails, would not be subjected to fluid pressures. With the valve 8 remained still, the plunger 10' moves to the right side against the spring 27 to force the spring seat 23 gradually inclined. The liquid in the rear wheel cylinder can be compressed to a critical pressure exceeding twice the normal pressure.
