Abstract
PURPOSE: To convert and regenerate the reduced type to the oxidized one reduced type to the oxidized one of a coenzyme of various dehydrogenase, e.g. NAD(nicotinamideadenine dinucleotide) or NADP(nicotinamideadenine nucleotide phosphate) and vice versa electrochemically with ease.
CONSTITUTION: The title coenzyme (C) is regenerated faster by adding natural enzymes (E) known as a hydrogen (electron) transfer reaction catalyst between C and a redox compound to the reaction system comprising C of dehydrogenase, the redox compound, and a collector. As for the enzyme (E), lipoamide dehydrogenase (diaphorase), reduced NADP dehydrogenase (old yellow enzyme), reduced NAD (P) dehydrogenase (DT diaphorase), reduced NAD dehydrogenase (cytochrom C reductase), ferredoxin-NADP reductase, NAD peroxidase, and NAPP peroxidase may be cited.
