Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a stable function of an elastic rubber cylinder provided with an enclosure of the same material at a bottom portion of the cylinder, by fitting a metal enclosure, which has high rigidity and spacedly encloses rubber enclosure, thereby limiting the flexible deforation of said cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A vibro-isolating support includes an elastic rubber cylinder 1 which is equipped at both ends thereof with upper and lower fittings 2, 3 having fastening portions 2a, 3a respectively. An aperture 4 is formed through the fitting 3 to connect the vacant space 1a of the cylinder 1 with a room 5a which appears between the fitting 3 and elastic rubber enclosure 6 partially including a sheet-like rubber 5. A metal enclosure 10 with high rigidity, isolated from the sheet-like rubber 5, accomodates the enclosure 6 including the space 5a. This arrangement may prevent the cylinder 1 from deflecting greatly under excessively growing external force P and provide a stable function and high durability.
