Abstract

PURPOSE: To readily execute the heading of a film at recording time in a sound projector by starting a device for feeding a film at slow speed via a slow speed feeding switch only when a projection lamp is set at off position to become preheating state.
CONSTITUTION: When a main switch knob 30 is set at off position 33, a motor 71 is not driven, and a lamp 15 becomes in preheating state under the control of a cam 74 to allow a microswitch 76 to be connected to a low voltage side. When a normal rotation slow speed feeding switch 37 is depressed in this state, a microswitch 60' is closed to thereby allow the motor 71 to be normally driven at slow speed to thus project a movie film image on a projection glass on a viewer. When a reverse slow speed feeding switch 38 is depressed, the motor 71 is driven in reverse direction at slow speed. Thus, even if the film is accumulated on an optical path for long time in this slow speed drive state, it may not be burnt due to the radiation heat of the lamp.
