Abstract

PURPOSE:To accomplish highly accurate speed detection with a higher value of S/N through narrow band amplification of Doppler output signal. CONSTITUTION:The output signal of the Doppler radar 2 is fed to a variable filter 6 via an amplifier 3 having a frequency band covering the detection speed range. The filter output is outputted as the speed signal through a frequency voltage converter 4. The output is introduced to a voltage comparator 7, the output of which controls the band range of the filter 6 as shown by f0-f4.
