Abstract

PURPOSE:To generate turning effect between a moving permanent magnet and a permanent magnet for a rotor by allowing one pole of either permanent magnet fixed on the rotor or a moving permanent magnet to come near to the other magnet. CONSTITUTION:Three permanent magnets 2-4 are fixed concentrically on a rotor 1 so that the direction of poles is kept parallel with a tangential direction of the rotor; a moving permanent magnet 5 separate from the permanent magnets 2-4 is arranged near the rotor 1 so that its pole direction is kept nearly parallel with the central axis of the rotor 1. The moving magnet 5 is then fixed on the tip of a rocking rod 6, and a turning effect is generated by keeping the rocking rod 6 in contact with a cam 9 fixed on the rotor 1 through a rotary shaft 8 so that the rocking rod 6 turned by a shaft 7 will allow only N pole of the moving permanent magnet 5 to come as near as possible between the permanent magnets 2-4 and then part therefrom.
