Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a novel film which protects the micro-grooved surface of goods such as a phonograph record, and leaves no adhesive residue to the surface after peeling off from the surface, by applying a specific adhesive layer to a film substrate having a specific Gurley flexibility.
CONSTITUTION: A film substrate such as plastic film, paper, etc. having a Gurley flexibility of 75W800 inch.mg is coated with an adhesive layer (e.g. a mixture of an acrylic copolymer and a vinyl chloridevinyl acetate copolymer) having an elastic modulus of ≥7kg/cm2, pref. 7W70kg/cm2, and an adhesive strength 10W250g/ 20mm width, pref. 50W200g/20mm width, pref. to a thickness of 2W30 microns. The addition of ≤10wt% of an anionic or amine-type surface active agent to the adhesive layer is desirable to suppress the time-dependency of the adhesive strength.
