Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the title composition which improves the adhesivity of a substrate to a radical curing paint and gives a coating film having improved weatherability, etc., by the use of a specific thermosetting resin, a polyvalent isocyanate, and a polymerizable vinyl-type compound as main components.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition composed of (A) a thermosetting resin having two or more OH groups per molecule, and having a number-average molecular weight of 1,500W20,000 (e.g. polyester resin having terminal OH groups), (B) a polyvalent isocyanate having two or more isocyanate groups per molecule, and having a number-average molecular weight of 150W10,000 (e.g. adduct of polymethylolpropane with hexamethylene diisocyanate), and (C) a polymerizable vinyl- type compound having 0.5W12 vinyl-polymerizable unsaturated groups per 1,000 units of molecular weight and having a number-average molecular weight of 100W 5,000 (e.g. 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate).
