Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable an easy and inexpensive formation of a concave portion and to made a mold for a high molecular constituent being highly precision in the size, by applying a flame coating to a final master mold made of an elastomer.
CONSTITUTION: A convex silicone rubber mold (a final master mold) 5 is formed by casting a RTV type silicone rubber in, for example, a concave urethane rubber (the secondary master mold) 4. The final master mold 5 is of a so-called elastomer mold, a desired mold 6 being produced by flame coating a metal, such as zinc, to the final master mold. The mold 6 can be reinforced by mounting a proper metal frame or the like at a peripheral portion thereof except the mold, and the back thereof. The elastomer, of which the final master mold consists, has elasticity and softness, and particularly enables a concave portion to be quite easily separable.
