Abstract
PURPOSE: To make possible even flux coating without giving any influence to the part lead terminals of the object to be soldered such as printed wiring substrate by atomizing liquid-form flux by an ultrasonic oscillator and letting the same be deposited on the object to be soldered by wind force.
CONSTITUTION: Flux 2 is led from a tank 1 into the flux passage 12 in an ultrasonic oscillator 4 throug conduit 3 by opening a valve 5. At this same instant, a rotary blade 9 is driven by the motor 8 of a fan 11 to send air into an air passage 7. The flux having passed through the passage 12 is atomized through vibration of an atomizing surface 13 by the ultrasonic oscillator 4 and is made by the air of the passage 7 to the mist-form flux 15 which is then spouted from a diffusion port 14 through the air passage 17 in the blast wall 16. This deposites on the soldering side surface 20 of the printed wiring substrate 19 mounted with electronic parts 18 and the lead terminal 21 surfaces of the electronic parts 18.
