Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform various kinds of fault diagnosis and controlling with a simple constitution by counting the reference clocks according to the operation signals of the copying machine.
CONSTITUTION: The machine signal A from the copying machine unit 6 is supplied to a CPU10 through an input signal control part 9 to start the counter in the CPU10 so that counting of reference clocks 5 is started. When the machine normally operates after this and the machine signal B is supplied, the counting is stopped and the counter is reset, at the same instant of which the signal X or Y for driving or stopping driving means such as motor is supplied to the copying machine 6 through an output control part 11.
