Abstract

PURPOSE: A track switching equipment for a constantly charged magnetic floating car whereby a railway can be safely switched, once a track is switched.
CONSTITUTION: An insulator 35 is used for mounting a stationary railway 22b on a railway supporter 21b of a stationary track for a constantly magnetized linear motor car. A hydraulic cylinder 42 operates on a track with which a railway 22g at the end of said railway 22b is associated to lift up or down for parallel connection with the railway 22b. An insulator 35c is used for mounting a railway 22c on a track supporter 21c which is shifted when a track is switched. The railway 22g, lifted down as shown by the solid line by the hydraulic cylinder, couples said railways 22b, 22c.
