Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate the time correction control by accomplishing the simultaneous reset to zero in the pointer system and digital system within the errors of ±30sec. through a heart cam and a switch each interlocking with the zero resetting lever.
CONSTITUTION: When a crown is depressed, a zero resetting lever 32 turns to close a switch 35 while the heart cam 27 is regulated. Consequently, the carry to the minute counter 23 or the resetting of the counter 22 is perfromed by way of an AND gate 47 or 50 adapted to be opened through a final stage counter 46 in which the output from a differentiating circuit 38 inverts from low to high level at 30sec. of the second counter 22 and the digital second indication is reset to zero with the errors of ±30sec. On the other hand, a second hand 5 is reset to zero through the cam 27 with the zero resetting lever angle 56 of the lever 32 facing therecess 58 of the cam 27 except that the errors at the reset to zero is approx. 30sec. Therefore, the time correction of this quartz watch can be controlled easily with only one push button.
