Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure that plugging preventing treatment can be carried out before occurrence of initial plugging phenomenon by a method wherein a straightening plate is arranged in a duct, an orifice is arranged in a heat transmitting pipe at an air-speed increasing portion, and a flow meter or thermometer is arranged.
CONSTITUTION: A straightening plate 3 is arranged below a heat transmitting pipe 7 in a duct 4, and a heat transmitting pipe orifice 1 is formed inside the central heat transmitting pipe 7. An electromagnetic flow meter for monitoring plugging phenomenon is arranged at an outside U-shaped portion. In such an arrangement, plugging phenomenon occurs exclusively in the central heat transmitting pipe due to the deviation of airflow amount by the plate 3 and to the action of the orifice 1. Therefore, plugging phenomenon and its development can be prevented while preventing reduction of cooling efficiency, by monitoring the phenomenon and taking such measures as increasing of cooling material flow rate, reducing of airflow amount, and the like.
