Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the sensual display device suited for manually controlling the position of the objective lens by disposing three or more light emitting elements in ring form and so constituting these that the rotating direction of the light emitting position is changed depending upon whether front focus or rear focus.
CONSTITUTION: A display part 2 which is disposed with three or more LEDs are so disposed in ring form that light emission thereof may be observed is provided. The four LEDs are then subsequently lighted by the output from a circuit 3 which detects focus photoelectrically and generates output. The circuit 3 has two output terminals. Here, when front focus, i.e., when N1=0, N2=1 as shown in the output truth table 1 of the circuit 3, the LEDs of the display part 2 are lighted in the order of LED1, LED2, LED3, LED4, and when rear focus, i.e., when N1=1, N2=0, the LEDs are lighted counterclockwise like LED1, LED4, LED3, LED2. When focused, all the LEDs are lighted. In this way, the controlling of the objective lens may be accomplished sensually without any error.
