Abstract

CONSTITUTION: When new bobbin is fitted between chuck chips 11, 14, the projections 16, 17 are inserted into the core hole of bobbin to place the bobbin 5 at correct central position. Here the circular edge 19 and bobbin pusher chip 23 are pressed against the end face of bobbin 5 through bias of springs 22, 25, but the bias of spring 22 is such that tail yarn Yt isn't cut with only said pressing. Thereafter scissor 6 will cut the yarn continuing between new bobbin 5 and fully wound bobbin 2, and the bobbin 5 is rotated by means of traverse drum 26 to wind the yarn on the bobbin 5.
