Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to register the tax amount quickly and correctly with a simple operation, by judging whether included tax amount through the use of the included and excluded designation code and accumulating and registrating the excluded tax amount to the accumulation memory.

CONSTITUTION: In the register which can perform the registration of tax amount from the both of inclusion including tax and exclusion not including the tax to a commodity price, the memory unit 21 stores and presets the inclusive and exclusive designation code designating the unit price of the commodity corresponding to each section key, tax rate and either of included tax or exluded tax. Further, RAM26 reads out the unit price corresponding to the section key, tax rate and inclusive and exclusive designation code, and whether inclusive tax amount or exclusive tax amount is judged with this code, and the exclusive tax amount is accumulated and registrated to the total memory. Further, the inclusive tax amount and exclusive tax amount calculated with RAM28 are printed with total key operation. Thus, the tax amount can quickly and correctly be registrated with a simple operation.
