Abstract

CONSTITUTION: When a core A is placed on a core receiving plate 22 and the piston rod 20 of a cylinder 18 is lowered, a core clamping plate 28 presses the core A by the force of springs 30, thence the fettling rollers 46 at the end of the spindles 26 are inserted into the core A while being contacted and pressed to the inside wall B of the core A as the wire materials (elastic members) 42 elastically deform inward. Next, the spindles 26 are revolved about 180° like the arrows P, Q and the fins C on the core inside surface are crushed by the rollers 46 and are thereby removed.
